The Chung Experiment - Professor Deborah Chung, who has a Doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is the leading “smart materials” scientist in this country, and a scientist of international reputation. Her team tested the negative resistance effect thoroughly for a year in the laboratory. If there is a team in this country anywhere qualified to test a negative resistance effect in carbon materials, it is Professor Chung and her team at UB.
Professor Chung discusses on camera for the first time how this invention works, and she demonstrates its performance under various conditions with co-inventor Dr. Shoukai Wang. In addition, she candidly answers questions posed to her by the interviewers. Later on in the film we also get to learn a bit more about Deborah Chung, the person, one of the first four women to graduate from California Institute of Technology.
We saw a very nervous presentation discussing the negative resistor created from carbon fiber bundles that were crossed across each other and when squeezed, exhibited different electronic qusalities depending on how hard or soft the squeezing was. The techniques were provided as open source and not patented. However, since this was presented, the techniques apparently went "dark".

The reflexive response from mainstream science about the possibility of producing free energy from the vacuum is that it is not possible as this would violate the second law of thermodynamics.
Over the last 20 years the absolute status of the second law has come under increased scrutiny, more than during any other period in its 180-year history. Since the early 1980's, roughly 50 papers representing over 20 challenges have appeared in the refereed scientific literature.
In July 2002, the first conference on its status was convened at the University of San Diego, attended by 120 researchers from 25 countries. In 2004, the mainstream scientific journal Entropy published a special edition devoted to second law challenges. And, in July 2004, an echo of the first conference was held in Prague, Czech Republic.

Walt, a natural and witty raconteur, describes his life's work, with particular emphasis on the inventors, successful and unsuccessful, that he worked with. Inventors such as Tom Bearden's MEG team, Floyd Sweet, Bruce de Palma, and others scattered over the globe from Canada to Australia.
Walt, who sadly passed on in January of 2007, eagerly co-operated with the Energetic Productions film team, so this DVD is a great tribute to him, his times, and the inventors he worked with. Adroitly edited by Robert Teifeld PhD, it was a tribute to the richness of Walt's body of work that, even after editing, the DVD's length could not be reduced below 140 minutes, the longest DVD yet in the Series.
